The 2026 Taiwan THz Winter Workshop will take place at National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan, from December 2nd to 3rd, 2026. The Taiwan THz Workshop series was initiated in 2023 at National Tsing Hua University and has since been held seven times at universities across Taiwan, including workshops organized last year and the most recent event held in late April 2026. The series provides a platform for researchers, industry professionals, and students to discuss the latest developments and future directions in terahertz science and technology. Topics include experimental and theoretical research on THz devices, spectroscopy, imaging, ultrafast phenomena, communications, and interdisciplinary applications in biology, chemistry, physics, materials science, and electrical engineering. Through presentations and discussions, the workshop aims to strengthen collaboration among academia, research institutions, and industry, while encouraging innovative ideas and supporting the continued growth of Taiwan’s THz research community.
